We asked for inclusion and acceptance, and for the most part, we got it – at the cost of our queer nightlife spaces as singles in Boston has moved online, and married gay couples into the suburbs. Blazing ahead of the nation with legal rights and protections for the LGBT community has had its side effects - and today, the gay scene of Boston is a shell of its former self.
